6 cups cubed beef steak
1/2 cup flour
Oil for frying
1 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup minced garlic
1 fresh rosemary
2 thyme
1 can tomatoes
1.5 cups beef stock
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste
1 rolled pastry puff
1 egg lightly beaten
In a bowl, combine the beef, flour, and a little bit of salt and black pepper.
Coat the beef well, heat the oil in a saucepan, and deep-fry the coated beef till its golden brown.
In a pan, heat some oil and sauté the onion and garlic. Add in the rosemary and thyme and stir.
Add in the canned tomatoes, beef stock, pepper, and the fried beef to the pan and cook it for 2 hours or till the beef is tender.
Preheat your oven to 250 degrees F. Pour the beef mix into a tin and cover it with puff pastry. Grease the pan and pastry with the egg.
Bake the pie for 25 minutes till the puff is golden brown. Serve it hot.
