2 (14 ounces) cans ground beef (drained)
1 (14½ ounces) can refried beans
½ cup onion (peeled and chopped)
1 (¾ ounce) package taco seasoning
Flour (as needed)
1 (8 ounces) package refrigerated crescent rolls
1½ cups Cheddar cheese (shredded)
1 cup lettuce (shredded)
2 tomatoes (diced)
Guacamole and sour cream (to serve, optional)
Preheat the main oven to 350 degrees F.
In a large frying pan, while stirring, combine the canned ground beef with the refried beans, onion, and taco seasoning, mix thoroughly.
Over moderate heat, cook until warmed through.
Scatter the flour over a clean work surface and unroll the crescent dough.
Using a circular cookie cutter, cut out rounds from the dough and place on a greased baking sheet.
Spread an even amount of the beef mixture over each round cut crust.
Scatter the shredded cheese over the top.
Bake in the oven until golden, for approximately 15 minutes, or until browned.
Remove from the oven and top with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, guacamole, and sour cream.
